LON and car driving
« on: June 28, 2016, 02:36:54 PM »

Is it save to drive a car shortly after lengthening (LON) with not fully weight-bearing nails in my legs?
I wouldn't have to use more force for braking than I would have to while walking with crutches, right?

Thanks.

I did LON and arrived back home on the 54th day after frame removal. I drove right away with no problems...other than having to get used to longer legs jammed under the steering wheel. Unfortunately, the truck I had at that time had a seat that could not slide back any further.
