How long to get to doing stuff you normally do
« on: June 26, 2016, 03:40:11 AM »

Hey guys. I plan to do 4.9 cms tibial lengthening (external only), sometime in 2017.
I wanted to know, from people who have already gone through this (external only), how long does it take for you to get back to doing normal things like studying, after the surgery?
I know that most of us won't be able to study just after the surgery because of problems adjusting to sleep patterns, pain and just adjusting to life in those frames.
But, when do you get used to it and start living life like it's okay now? I understand everyone's different, but I want an average perspective.
Because if I'm going to give so much time for LL, why not do something productive while I'm at it, so that when I come out of the whole thing, I'm taller and better in some other respect as well?
Regards,
