He may not be to far off.  If he was a couch patato before surgery, and trained like an olympian post surgery I would be he would be more than 110%
why are you trying to convince yourself that you will be better in sports after 8cm lengthening in your tibias? you really know that that isnt going to be. do not fool yourself

IF he was a couch potato before surgery he'll never recover to a point you would consider "athletic"

you dont have to get fit before surgery all the strenth you have gained will be gone just lose fat and get tonned and stretch alot your hams and calfs thats all you need
