Is the LL immoral?
« on: January 29, 2016, 11:25:18 AM »

Like any surgery, this can be seen as a complex and inability to be content with what we have. Although I am optimistic about the operation, she asks me still an ethical problem.
No one is in a similar situation?
I'm not afraid of the operation or what people will think, only I feel artificially fill a defect

Is success immoral? Working hard and achieving trophies and getting rich to "fill a void"? People do it all the time.

If anything it could be considered genetic cheating if you don't tell your partner. There is a case in which a man sued his wife for not having told him she had had extensive face surgery and having had really ugly children. Now imagine you get your lehs lengthened amd you you don't tell your wife and then you have short-legged sons lol

It isn't immoral but it becomes immoral on behalf of some doctors. Look at my thread about salesmen and cases of dishonesty in LL. LL corrupts doctors.

Eh, I don't think it's genetic cheating to be honest. Although height is mostly genetics, it CAN be random. Height can be influenced from anything like the mother's diet and health(during pregnancy), environment, nutrition growing up, ancestor genes, etc. - you get the point. If anything, LL is just cheating to avoid some social issues and fixing whatever height neurosis you have.

I've seen short couples/short families with tall children.

To add to this: Jeremy Lin has parents around 5'6 and he's 6'3.
