Early hospital discharge sounds good. Now what? Options... LLVets please comment

Docteur Guichet’s early hospital discharge/mobilisation & the intense/hardcore/bootcamp style rehab appeals to the fitness fanatic in me. I earnestly hope that he will accept me as a patient. As such, I’m busily scoping AirBnb, Wimdu, spareroom.co.uk, etc, for future accommodation near the isokinetic centre in London. 

OK, so after discharge on day 3 to a shared flat as the disabled temporary flatmate... What will the first two weeks after CLL be like? How hard is it to pick things up from the floor? Hoover? Clean a toilet? Cook? Empty a dishwasher? Use a washing machine/tumble dryer? Iron? Not freak out your new flatmates who might think that you are a crazy/self-harming/narcissistic wierdo? What will they make of the obvious pain, mood swings, insomnia, impaired mobility & bonhomie-failure?

LL vets? Got any advice?

Dr. Catagni won't even do a consult for CLL unless he also gets to meet the live-in 24hr caregiver you plan to use...so I assume the first 2-3 weeks are tough.

Be interesting to see what the LL vets have to say on this...

That is v interesting, CCMidWest. I didn't know that! That could be a proper bottleneck/show-stopper? Doesn't he have carer contacts that he can recommend because not everyone has relatives that can, or are willing to interrupt their lives/jobs to translate to a foreign country, especially if they have reservations about a loved-one doing it all in the first place?

I assume you could hire it out, yeah. Whether he has recommendations for caregivers I don't know.

If I fly to Italy for this, I'd want a lot of help anyway.
