Height Proportions (168cm - 178cm)
« on: January 14, 2016, 10:57:00 PM »

I'm wanting to reach a desired height of 178cm. I am currently 168cm at 19 years old.
Physical goals after the surgery would be being able to go for a medium paced jog and lift weights at the gym, light leg weights not really squats or leg press.
I have linked what 5cm in each limb looks like in both clothed and unclothed, I understand proportions look different in clothes.

Dr. Guichet is a doctor I'm interested in at the moment but am researching further at different methods + doctors as an
8cm height increase would also be extremely welcomed if 10cm is too drastic.

Honestly, I just cant imagine why you would be thinking about LL at this stage. Wait 3-4 more years , you could be 2-3 cm taller.
Go to the gym, try to gain at least 15 kg of which 9-10 kg lean muscle, and then come back.

Your legs at this moment just seem way too long. Especially the first picture. When you add the fact that your upper body is as skinny as if you are literally coming from Somalia, it really doesnt look good...

In addition, if you go to surgery now and the hardly noticable muscle on your legs begins stretching, it would feel like absolutely nightmare. I actually doubt Dr. Guichet would choose to work with you in the next 2-3 years..

I'm sorry but I don't think your proportions can handle LL at all.

You need to bulk up. Your small frame doesn't really compliment that much lengthening.

Bulking up and gaining mass around your chest and especially your legs will improve your look better. I would say at best though you would only be able to do 5 CM; and at 5'8 that's not bad

Damn dude that looks bad, sorry for my honesty but it looks just really bad. You need to put on a lot of mass to get away with 5cm's (I'd forget about the 10cm's if I was you). Your build is quit narrow to begin with and LL makes things just worse.
Get yourself a wheight gainer and hit the gym for at least a year before considering this surgery.

This, your short torso and arms don't lend themselves to more than 5cm. Max! The top pic with your mockup at 10cm has the classic dwarf on stilts that LL patients should avoid at all costs.
