Glad to hear that even you are from India penguin.and I don't think 5'6 is average height in India especially not among the younger guys here.I think 5'9 is average amongst teens here and that study where they stated average height is 5'6 is absolute bull crap.though I see older guys are not so tall.I consider being 5'10 because my brother and father are about 179-180cm and also lot of people here keep saying 1 inch isn't possible through stretching because of being that they don't want to get up and work their lazy a** off and I am saying this not to argue with you guys but because I've gained 1inch through stretching like about 45 min daily but few months back I stopped it and I lost it all and let me be crystal clear my posture is very good in fact people ask me why I walk busting my chest out like some bodybuiler
So yeah if u think its fake u people can try it out.but one inch is the maximum that u can gain through stretching.I just want to make it permanent through a strict diet and some prolonged stretching I.e for some longer period of time.
And penguin my brother I can totally understand u.Guys my height can be fine in this country but it is absolutely not average height.
Actually I agree with you somewhat, I'd say the average is around 5'7.5. Definitely not 5'9.
To anyone claiming the Indian average male height is 5'5:
1. That result came from a 10 year old survey. It does not apply to this generation of teens.
2. That survey includes people below the poverty line(30% of population) which takes the average down significantly. The upper middle class/upper class average is higher.
5'5 is the average height of 50 year olds/an 8th grade classroom in (the well-fed classes of people in)India.(I'm going to quote that anytime someone argues about it^)
Wait, so you gained 1 inch through stretching and then lost it? What was the point of it then?
Hm, I can understand how you feel if your father and brother are taller. I've noticed how that bothers people. Good luck with your LL journey! At anywhere more than 5'8 though, you're tall in India.
