I did stryde, walking wit cane now, plan is to go to office from this monday with cane. have booked hotel only .5 miles from office (has kitchen and accessible room with roll in shower), will uber to/from office (since it will cost low like 5$ anyway and since I dont want to risk driving though I think I am in a state where I can drive). after getting down from uber i will walk to lift and take lift to 2nd floor (where my office is) and will walk to my desk , based on my walking practice I can easily walk the distance from uber drop area to my cube/office. my role does not require sitting more than 30 minute on chair at one go, so I will et up and take small walk every 20-25 miutes, will stay in office for 5-6 hours and then work for 2-3 hours from home. While in office will take 2 breaks - i) lunch at office cafe and ii) call uber to go to hotel to go for my second lengthening session. my first lengthening session willl do in early morning around 7 AM (after eating breakfast at home), will get ready and take uber to physical therapy (5 miles from hotel) reaching there at 9:15 , will complete PT by 10:15 and from there will take uber to office reachig office aroud 10:45-11 (which is fine, I always go to office late from last 5 years). will leave offie at evening around 5 pm, will call uber go down to uber pickp area and go home/hotel. at hotel , when free will do some walking ptactice and some gym.will mostly go to walmart (.5 mile away) using uber to buy light grocery, for which I will use my four wheel walker that has a bucket in it. I will cook at home and will do grocery shopping every 2-3 days. last lenthening session will be after dinner at night. medicine will always keep with me and eat per schedule. what i need from you is - i) your input/suggestion on this plan of mine ii) though i walk fine with cane i dont think I will be able to handle walking with cane while having backup with my office laptop and charger in it, may be difficult to balance since I am not that strong yet, though i am thinking of practicing next 2-3 days walking with cane with a laptop bag on my shoulder , iii) because i am recovering from surgery i wear half pants/gym pants etc. and t shirt, but in office while t shirt is common (and i wear t shirts on normal days in office anyway) nobody i have seen wearing half pant or gym/track/comfy pants (NO-NO) so what do i do about it? my bandages have been taken off (wounds are open) as recommended by doctor (since i am recovering well) but wounds are not like 100% healed yet and wearing jeans, khaki, dress pants etc will hurt. please provide your input friends, thanks a lot.
