Hello everyone

First, I'm french and my English is certainly not very good sorry.

But I have some questions and need advice so I hope my message will be quite understandable so that some members may bring me answers.

I am a 21 year old woman and my height is 1,48m and I would like to turn to cosmetic surgery to grow a little (because I have no more opportunity to grow otherwise). Unfortunately, I only have a budget under 20k.

I wish to know what are the best methods for such bugdet (External I suppose, but are some external methods better than others?)

Do some people on this forum have been operated for that budget and could tell me more about their experience and the doctor who perform the act ? I consulted this list ( I have not finished yet ) but testimony could help me in my research http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?board=6.0

How long, on average, it would take, from surgery to recovery with external methods and how many cm can I win? Are there methods lasting only 3/4 months?

With that budget, I think you'll have to limit yourself to Serbia, India, or Russia and lengthen with an external fixator.  There's no way to get all-internal LL for that price.

Your best bet is probably Dr. Milorad Mitkovic in Serbia.  I visited with him and his patients.  He seemed like a good, caring doctor and his patients were happy with the results they were getting.

You might be able to do a LATN (Lengthening And Then Nailing) process taking 3-4 months for the lengthening phase, then have a fixed internal nail put in to maintain your new height while the bone heals.  I know a patient who did it that way.

Heureux de te voir  dans ce forum, je suis marocain et j'envisage s'opérer en juin 2016 avec un budget plus faible que toi, moi j'ai que 17000 dollar (us) vu que notre devise est trop faible par rapport au dollar et l'euro.. Bon quant à vos questions je vais vous répondre rapidement et si vous voulez plus d'explications n'hésite pas à me demander.
1 : avec notre budget on peut faire seulement la méthode externe et chez certains docteur même avec ce budget on pourra pas..
2 : quand on parle de l'externe méthode il y a plusieurs options : - Ilizarov fixateurs ( la méthode la plus traditionnelle mais aussi la moins couteuse, 12000 dollar sera largement suffisante pour faire cette opération ( ce prix inclut l’hébergement ) mais à propos l’hébergement vous devrez savoir que vous devez compter au moins 5 mois afin de regagner la marche avec tes pieds..

- LON : Cette technique utilise un dispositif externe de distraire et d'allonger l'os, tandis qu'une tige interne qui est en place sert à protéger l'os nouveau qui se développe... Le temps approximatif pour retourner à des activités complètes est de 3-5 mois..

moi personnellement même avec mon 17000 dollar mon choix était vite fait biensur j'ai choisis LON par ce que mon temps est trés limité.. passons maintenant aux docteurs auquels vous pouvez aller :

Docteur Yasser el batrawy en Egypte : je l'ai contacté il parait professionnel et gentil meme il n'a pas voulu me faire une remise, son prix est à partir 15000 euro ( hébergement et food inclut )

docteur castro siffarini en Jordanie : un docteur professionnel, il a fait plusieurs opérations réussis, je l'ai contacté l'année dernière et j'ai oublié son prix, malheureusement j'ai perdu contact avec lui 

Docteur mitkovic en sérbie : un docteur professionnel, mais selon ce que j'ai vu dans plusieurs post son limite est 5cm, son prix est 9300 euro pour l'opération et 550 euro mensuel pour un hotel ( selon ce qu'il m'a dit )

Docteur Mirzoyan en arménie : je l'ai contacté, il vend en détail :dd son prix est 1900 dollar pour cm ( j'ai réussi à le convaincre de m'opérer avec 1500 dollar-cm ) et 1300 dollar pour l’accommodation mensuel..

Il y a aussi des docteurs en inde qui personnellement je les laisse comme dernier choix, il y a aussi des bons docteurs en russe.

just thought id mention. LON or LATN is impossible for Serbia. they don't have the fluoroscopy c-arm. internals can never happen. only pure externals. expect this to take 10 months, even longer.

Russia and india might offer lon/latn.

Interesting.  Dr. Mitkovic offered LATN back in 2007.  Guess my info's outdated now.

yep that was under the military hospital. because of the al-Qaida trained Albanians and kosovo. there has been a new law passed saying international patients can not be operated on in the military hospital(which has the equipment. there are no other c -arm fluoroscopy machines in all of Serbia, there might be 1 in Belgrade at a later date however I wouldn't hold my breath.

There are some hospitals that offer LON or internals in India. My surgeon does for sure, although he won't do LATN because he doesn't find any benefit of using it over LON.
