upper or lower leg first ? anyone with Mahboubian?

Hi: can someone suggest whether do upper or lower leg first?  which one has lower risk? 

     also I'm in Southern California area, anyone has experiences with Dr Mahboubian?  my email is ranzhang35@hotmail.com

If the risks are what bothers you then the upper part (femurs) is safer.

is the pain associated with femur also less than with tibia?

is the surgery itself painful or you don't feel a thing as soon as you get anesthesia?
