im new here, question about Glucosamin
« on: April 12, 2014, 04:19:19 PM »

Hello all,

I am 25 years old and my height is 178 cm, my goal is to archive 181 cm. I'm searching for some methods and I found an article about Glucosamin.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-142809/Can-pill-make-taller-weeks.html
http://www.naturalheightgrowth.com/2014/02/20/non-prescription-supplement-scientifically-proven-make-grow-taller-even-closed-growth-plates/

Does anyone has experience with this stuff? or is this just a scam? Would this work at the age of 25?

It won't make you taller, it slows down the natural shrink of your spine when you age. And we are talking about a few mm not cm!

Some people claim that they have gotten a few cm out of this supplement, and since it is good for the body in any case i think it is worth trying, im definitely going to try it for an extended period of time after im healed from LL, i might even start taking it once im in consolidation phase which is soon.

Maybe the people who experienced height gain had some kind of cartilage loss from hurting their back in the past, and the glucosamine restored that. Or maybe it just depends on the individual, how well the supplement is distributed by the body.

Or maybe the more likely answer is human error.  The guy who claimed a 4 cm increase from taking the pills said he measured himself in the morning at his gym.  He never specified that when he last measured himself and whether it was in the morning pre- any physical activity.

That being said, I'm interested in trying this for myself.  I lost half an inch from a goddamn herniated disk.  :o

You'll gain a few mm, not a few cm.
