Things you had to do before your LL surgery!!
« on: July 27, 2015, 01:22:36 AM »

To the people who have had LL already:
What were the steps you took before you had your surgery secured and locked in with the doctor?

Identify the doctor whom you had your LL surgery with and the steps you had to take (e.g. get clearance from your own doctor to have surgery, preliminary x-rays, applying for specific visa etc.) Before you travelled overseas to have your LL procedure.
Thanks guys!

P.s. I'm leaning towards Guichet so if anyone has had LL with Guichet a thorough listing of what you needed to do beforehand would be greatly appreciated.

Dr. Peng in China:

Step 1: have the money.
Step 2: get a Chinese visa (any kind will do.)

That is all.

Obtain a medical visa (get note from GP, apply to embassy), make consultation appointment and book flight, find hotel to stay in, fly to country and take taxi from airport to hotel, have personal consultation with doc, take standing x-ray, get blood tests, have pre-op appointment to discuss procedure, don't eat the night before and arrive at hospital again excited and nervous over what's about to happen.
