I've heard that Salamehs device is less painful but I wanted to know from anyone who has done ll
with him what if any permanent muscle/nerve damage came from using his device? Also on a scale from zero to 10 how bad was the pain of the ll? I've emailed him and he seemed very friendly and easy going but I would like to know the community's opinion of him and how their experience was with him?

I have done LL with Dr. Salameh and lenghtened 9 cm. (I have a diary on old forum ; there are other diaries from Salameh patients). Now I' m in the consolidation.
The Salamehfix device is very good, it's quite small and you can wear the device under (wide) trousers. I never had nerve damage.

Pain was managable and it is generally individual; for me, the hardest part was right after the operation (but of course there are pain killers if you need it). Most important part is not to lengthen to fast and follow the advices of the doctors. Also important is to have a good cleaning routine to avoid infections.

Thanks Morpheus. I've discussed ll with a few people here and they said with Lon and Ilzarov they never fully recovered their muscles. But no permanent muscle damage? That's great! Do you have a link to your diary?
