It's not. It probably saves you a few months at most. You'll be able to walk with Precice 2.2 anywhere between 4-6 months post-op in like 98% of cases.

Hopefully, you wouldn't feel the need to use shoelifts anymore after doing limb lengthening. That being said, it shouldn't be an issue if you want to do so. It might even be a bit of an aesthetic improvement after femur lengthening specifically since it will balance your femurs and tibias more.

I bought myself one of those Bowflex adjustable dumbbell weight sets that go up to 60 pounds. I was doing various upper body exercises with those (eg. curls, military press, etc) a couple of months after the initial surgery without any problem.

As far as I know, he just suddenly stopped posting content on social media randomly at some point because of all the hate he was receiving from people online.

Anecdotally, my overall heart rate went up after limb lengthening surgery. Not by a huge amount but there was definitely a small uptick and I could see it on my Oura ring heart rate tracker. Not sure if this is the norm for most people, however.

No. Just no. You can search the forums. There are countless horror stories from there.

Just save up for Precise. No one should be doing LON femurs at this point. It's by far the most unsafe method in addition to leaving the worst scarring.

I told my close friends and family what I was doing. My family was supportive, but, obviously, also uneasy at the extremeness of the procedure. There's really no way to hide a 3 inch growth spurt in your 30's XD

Thank you, I really appreciate your response, it convinced me and made a lot of sense. But for the love of God, can someone name a single reputable doctor in the US or Europe who shares before and after videos of their patients? I understand that top surgeons don’t need to do marketing or post these videos. But how can I risk my legs and life based only on word of mouth or forum posts saying a doctor is good? This is serious surgery, and any reputable doctor should be transparent enough to show clear results.

No reasonable person would trust their legs to a doctor without real proof. I’m sorry if I sound frustrated, but I’m at my breaking point. LLT was my hope because of the great result my best friend had with them, but now everything feels like it’s falling apart, and I’m back to square one. Please, I need a real solution. I have a $50K budget, I live in France, and I need 8 cm. Any advice would mean the world to me
