Title: lengthen one leg 4.5cm and then lengthen the other leg another 4.5cm

i think i saw this topic but i can’t find it. i’ve been thinking about having surgery on one leg (about 4.5 cm approx) with a weight bearing device like a betzbone, and then two months after finishing the lengthening period start on the other leg to compensate. i would do this to see a way of not having to stop working and also to be less visible to the people i work with. what do you think about it? have you read about this way of doing it or do you know anyone who has done the same? i work as a dentist, it’s not a very physical job, except that i would be sitting for short periods of approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

I am not sure this will be useful information for you, since you are talking about weight bearing to be able to continue working, but just so you know, in germany there is Dr. Köhne, who is only (!) doing one sided lengthening. He first lengthens one of your legs, then about half a year later your second one. But he currently does not have weight bearing nails - he mainly does it so that you are still able to go to physiotherapy etc. on crutches, to basically always have "one healthy leg" at any given time.
