Title: Marie Gdalevitch in Montreal
Post by: Joe Biden on September 19, 2023, 08:03:38 PM
Did anyone do surgery with Marie Gdalevitch?

Price is 90 000 CAD that is about 70 000 USD but I'm wondering how much you spent on accommodation, medicine, x rays?
They responded me via email saying that only physiotherapy is covered for 3 months.

So, first I was curios about Turkey then I realize that it's a horror to go there, was considering Becker and Giotikas but very liked Franz Birkholtz however I'm in Canada at the moment and for me it's better to stay in the country if I want to apply for the residence etc and now I'm thinking about M.Gdalevitch, in general the level of Canadian medicine is high and laws work better than in the other countries so that's a plus!

But her price is basically 70 000 USD and Birkholtz offers it for 60 000 USD with accommodation and physio!

What doctor would you choose? Not going to the USA, expensive plus visa needed (that might be harder to get). Especially would be awesome if guys with experience (who did LL or just hang out on this forum for awhile) would give advice.

Gdalevitch is solid. Does 70K include physio and accomadations?

Got it thanks but not going to Turkey and not doing Tibia. Only Femur!
Question is -
Betz, Giotikas, Franz Birkholtz or Marie Gdalevitch?

Unfortunately not.. I will have to pay for accommodations, x rays, medicine and food.
That's what i think, if she is solid then I might stay in Canada and do it here.

Because with Becker, Giotikas price could be not much cheaper.
Still a little bit confused who to choose of these 4 but because I live in Canada now it's a plus.
I have seen her reviews and interview with Cyborg, in general good impression.

Birkholtz is a very reliable professional, probably one of the most safe choices.
European doctors don't offer accomodations.

However if we compare Birkholtz with Marie, you'll find Birkholtz to have more experience and more diaries with him.

Definitely don’t do Becker / Betz unless you’re doing less than 5cm in lengthening. Becker / Betz don’t do ITB releases and every other surgeon does.

That leaves Giotikias, Birkholtz, and Gdalevitch.

Reasons to go for Giotikas:

- You absolutely need a weight bearing nail for some reason like work
- You want to do more than 8cm on femurs with G-Nail
- You really prefer staying in Athens

Reasons to go for Gdalevitch:

- You want to stay local in Canada.
- Remote work. Greece and South Africa have a massive time zone difference that would make it difficult.

Otherwise, Birkholtz is the best choice in terms of orthopedic experience, track record, and dollar value.

The only thing holding me in Canada is my status and future applications for residence here but I really think about Birkholtz and right now near the point when I just wanna do it, was thinking for too long about this idea. Anyway my plans are for 2024. And I think that if we even compare Giotikas and Birkholtz then Birkholtz could be still cheaper and safer, I'm more for safery!
Thanks for advice guys!
I'll be choosing between Birkholtz and Marie, I just hope that prices will not go much up next year!
