Hey Cathy7, could you please provide more information about yourself, like age, starting height etc.? What's your experience with Becker so far?

Its rare that females do this surgery. What is your motivation? You're pretty average height for a female basically anywhere in the world.

As i am the lowest in the whole family.
My mother is 176cm，while father is 188cm.sister and brother are all higher than 175cm

The first day post surgery
It is quite horrible！I keep vomiting all the time.
The bandage are quite slim that I felt quite painful from knees and feet.
I wake up more than 10 times and cannot sleep.

DO NOT do 8cms on tibias. How has your doctor even approved that? Especially as you're going home, will you be doing physiotherapy yourself?
The chances of recovering from 8cm with lack of professional physio are very slim.

It's short for a man, even if it's surgery. I just have a problem with it. I have no problem with you or this diary. I talked to Becker and I was planning to have surgery. The Becker patient told me to stay away. I'm saving up for Paley right now. I'm not saying Becker is bad, just kanye western crap. I'm bored of this forum it's really kindergarten. Theres not an army of fake accounts, the market just shifted when Stryde was taken off the market. Im curious about what you heard though....why someone had a bad experience.
When you're a patient you get to see many of the other patients and theres communication on whatsapp. Theres only 1 femur patient who is having a difficult time right now that I know of, and thats because he did 11CM and has terrible duck ass. But then someone else did 11CM and is walking pretty amazing in public 2 months into consolidation. Hes going up and down stairs like normal. So idk what to say about that. People have remarkably different recoveries when you get into the high lengths.
One thing I have heard of is runaway nails. Its rare but it does happen. It means the nail is so loose that it keeps clicking and you need to fly back. There was a tibia patient with this issue.
I can say in my case, that Im waiting to give a final review until ive completely recovered and maybe even until my nails are out. But so far so good. I would say truthfully the clicking mechanic is not ideal though. So its a mixed bag. You weight bare but the clicking is absurd at times.

I will leave today.I feel pain only do clicking.And from yesterday i dont know why，the clicking becomes difficult，especially for my left leg.Dr.Becker suggest me to decrease the times of clicking from 11 to 10.
Currently i can walk without crutches for 500-1000m，but Dr.Becker strongly suggest me to use crutches in public areas.

I hope the Heathrow airport is not quite busy and I could get a wheelchair as well,otherwise the long waiting queue would make me crazy！

Today is 4 weeks post surgery.After 1.5h flight i am back to my home.Although i used wheelchair assistance all the time，the tension become extremely heavy and the walk without crutches turn to difficult！i even hard to stand up without others‘ help.
When i arrived home，it is nearly 9pm and i have to do 2 rounds strength exercises in order to relax muscle and then am able to do other things.

Although I have not walking for long distance,the ankle is swelled.I have put ice packs on the ankle all the day.I strongly recommend all the tibia patients prepare ice packs at home.quite useful to fight against swelling！

The clicking, tension, pains will improve. Will also get more strength in legs as bone consolidate. I did femur after about 40 days post op, clicking was easy, tension gets to a lower point where it’s not bad as of now.
Clicking for me went like easy to medium to hard to medium to easy in that order for both legs at different times. Something I always do for tension is constant massage it with your hands. I still do it today and it helps.

LL is always a bad decision for a woman of an average height. Because extra height is not an advantage for women if they are about average.
At least stick to 5 cm. You don't need more than that and it won't even look good. 8cm for tibias is a recipe for disaster, specially when you won't have any benefit by doing it, you will look worse aesthetically and your physical abilities would be permanent reduced.
So keep my advice, don't go over 5cm. You will only lose after this height.

Just a suggestion: please, stop complaining about CLL on women.
Some women want to be taller because they like it, just like other men.
Let them choose by themselves, they are not children, if some women want to be taller, let them get this surgery, because it can give then a bigger stature, just like other men.
Maybe you have your reasons for this surgery, but those reasons can be different in other people.
About aesthetics, you have your own tastes, but other people have other different point of view. Maybe you don't like tall women, but other people like them.

That journal is real and verifiable at a private d group managed by some rando non-physician named Cyborg4Life (who seems pretty cool). Images and a kind of timeline are posted there and it's possible to correspond with this patient and track their progress.

I've checked her insta and confirm she is a real patient based on the videos she has taken. I have been there too for consultation so I know.

I am not fearmongering here but I've encountered with many men into tall(but of course, you also gotta be slim lol) women, including myself. A woman being average in height is okay but being tall is better and I think many men are into tall women. It is also why a woman gotta be tall to a model instead of being short(there are short models though, but the majority is tall).
I think the affinity to tallness is not exclusive to women.
