Title: No family left but have supportive partner, would like to do with Dr. Parihar
Post by: porpoiseless on January 13, 2023, 12:29:46 PM
so I tried emailing Dr Parihar but he won't do LL on me because I don't have any family left around me. I don't want to get into detail of my family situation (it is quite tragic), but I do have a supportive partner I'm not married to (we don't see the need for marriage). I'm 23-24, and have realistic expectations (5cm on femur or tibia only with externals).

what should I do?

I've saved up the money from working hard in IT, but I don't want to go with a sketchy doctor. Dr. Parihar seems like the most reliable.

he directly told you NO? thats harsh

any way are you indian or foreigner? bcoz if foreigner then he dont really care.
Can you ask ur partner to act as wife? He will do phone or zoom call to her before surgery I think. He wont check and it shouldnt matter really.

He ghosted lol, I'm a foreigner (malaysian/Singaporean)

Will try asking my partner and see if he agrees, can get him to wear a ring there, can I ask a friend to pretend to be my father/mother?

Please do not try to fake stuff. It is going to backfire.. Save money for some more time and try to go with a different doctor in  Europe or something..Good thing is that you are still young

I see... I will try again and see if he will accept my boyfriend as a family member. I just don't trust other Drs because the info on this forum seems full of advertisers and fake diaries. I only trust Dr. Parihar, Donghoon and Bentz. Not sure about Giotikas.

He just ghosted but ur assuming that he rejected you for this reason.

I think u atleast do a zoom consult with him or meet him in person. Other wise u cant expect a serious response from him as many ppl send emails to him. Dont make someone pretend to be mother/father. I think partner/husband will be enuf. He is just being a responsible doc and not hires a private investigator to verify u hahha. You will b ok.

U have a powerful singapore passport so u can also go to USA and do it with amazing surgeons like debiprasad and assayag. India doesnt looks so good and seems a bit scary to do surgery in for foreigners. So its easier for foreigner like u go to developed countries like USA for surgery.

not sure debiparshad is great. he seems sketchiest of any dr in the USA but most likely still much better than any Indian dr just because of high regulations and standards in USA

o

Lol, he prob think you're a flight risk. Def he won't accept your partner since you're 23-24. Also, externals is just not worth it tbh. Go for precice.

What do you mean by flight risk?

I see, I might just save up for 1-2 more years and do Precise then. My partner has already offered to fund 30%.

porpoiseless, pls consult with him if ur serious. Hes a practical man. Hes done only 5 case of cosmetic precise so far so he doesnt really have any fixed rules like that. Just talk wid him and u will figure it out. He might accept ur partners consent if u explain ur real situation in life.

I would like to keep my gender, apparence, exact location and ethnicity a secret! Am I female or male? Haha, I choose to keep it confidential.

Oh sorry for that. No problem, I am just very secretive irl because it would be hard to explain if someone  i knew found out I did LL in real life.
