Title: Questions for people who have had right hip pain after right femur clicking
Post by: SpeedDialer on November 03, 2022, 04:33:31 PM
Doing gnail femurs now, at like 4.5-5 cm progress

My unscientific hypothesis for the cause of this right hip pain post clicking is that the first big click of the right femur for gnail (needs more force to make this specific click happen, people who have gnail know what I'm talking about) maybe causes some very mild/brief trauma in your right leg/hip, but I don't know if the reason is actually something totally different. What I do know is that from talking to other gnail patients in Athens, their right leg seems to be worse than their left leg most of the time in terms of things like pain/nerve pain

I haven't found a good solution for this post-clicking right hip pain except to ice it with bigass large surface area soft ice pad (I use two bigass ice pads, it feels great) and wait it out, possibly I take a tramadol if the right hip pain is really bad

If I stretch or exercise or tbh move too much right after this post clicking right hip pain starts, it just seems to make the right hip pain worse

I haven't found a better solution, but it sort of feels weird to just sit around and ice pack the right hip for like an hour

What have you tried and what happened?
