Title: During leg legthening, what situations/movements in the bathroom most dangerous?
Post by: SpeedDialer on March 02, 2022, 10:16:35 PM
Ex: with G-nails in your femurs, you go to the bathroom. Which movements are hardest and what would you do for them to decrease the chance of falling down?

Peeing or washing?

Hmm nothing particularly dangerous.

Gotta be careful if you use a commode chair on top of the loo that it's correctly aligned

If you're wet you can slip

But overall I found that the risk is higher when you get used to being a cripple
After a few weeks none of your daily life is very risky. You learn fast
Rare movements remain dangerous

It's a very detailed issue but maybe not totally bizarre for some of you. I will do externals and with all pin treatment in calves I don't anticipate a rush to wash legs, as is for example MDOW advice (for tights, genitals and anus I can  use hospital materials, alcohol gel, etc.).
But due to dermatitis I can't stand more than a week without washing my head. Has any of you had this discomfort issue? I may be alone and I'm afraid to do it in the sink and cause a slippery mess. I even thought about going to a hairdresser but with frames all around calves not easy....
