Title: Is this correct conversation from girl's height to man's height?
Post by: ilovescience on September 20, 2021, 01:52:22 PM
Some said a girl's height at 155cm would be equivalent to man at 167cm.

I think this is how it works when girl's height equivalent to men's.

Girls 150 = men at 165

Girls 155 = men at 167

Girls 158 = men at 170

Girls 160 = men at 173

Girls 163 = men at 175

Girls 165 = men at 178

Girls 168 = men at 180

Girls 170 = men at 181

Girls 173 = men at 183

Girls 175 = men at 190

Do you guys agree with this comparison?

none of countries will differ male's average height from female's by 15cm so far and in future it's also impossible.

Also in dating market, male at 170cm can only have equities to female at 140cm.

Or if a girl's height is 150cm, her height would become 162cm if she's borned a man.

You have the girls a little taller than they should be.

The American average is 176 for men to 162 for women and should be extrapolated in both directions from there based on one standard deviation of 7.5 cm for men and 6 cm for women.

Men are on average 12-13cm taller than women. If you're 170, your twin sister would likely be around 157-158 tall.

Girls at 168 above are quite common.

So are girls at 155.  Not everyone is exactly average.

It's not about raw numbers, it's about deviations from the average.  Yao Ming's sister wouldn't be 7'2.

Yaoming is the only child. And considering his mother is 6'2, it's reasonable to assume the sister to be around 6'4.

His 11 year old daugther is already 170cm+...

Her daughter may become 200cm tall.

It's so sad too meet a person with such a narrow view of life....
I want LL as an improvement but I have already been so happy and "male" in this life....Courage, including physical , is in fact one of the features my friends see in me.
Don't feel offended but you seem to need not specially  LL but more social and comunication skills, imagination, calm, mindfulness, etc.
If you have that nothing is going to stop from getting inteligent, beautiful women.Just look at the dating sites. They "want" more than 1,6 or 1,7m but after they get to know you, everything in their criteria can change!
I  have that experience...showing humanity, inteligence, sensitivness, romanticism, being responsible, displaying confidence,  a well established profession and an appreciated family, using the right clothes, a good eau de toilete, etc, etc ETC, ETC!
Start investing in you right now! And leave this forum for (very) shorter guys or guys with height neurosis like me! ( saying  this friendly now!  :-). Be happy!!

You simply can't do a linear comparison like this.
A hot girl at 150cm will still have tons of men after her.
A guy that looks like Tom Cruise at 160cm will have a much harder time dating than an average looking 177cm guy.

The difference is that men PREFER shorter women, but do not REQUIRE it. They are open to date any size as long as she is cute and/or hot.
Meanwhile, most women REQUIRE a men to be taller than them. It's a pre-requisite: if you're not taller you're simply not in the game, you're simply not considered a potential partner by most women.
This is a well researched subject, just google some academic papers about it.

Man, I will say this really without wanting to offend. Have you ever thought that you may have more important issues to solve, like dealing with yourself and others (men or women) in counselling?
You cannot measure people like meat. And what about Einstein, Chaplin, Gengis Khan, whatever,  etc, etc, you get thepoint? Maybe not....
Again : a bit annoyed, not wanting to offend you.

Or you were just being ironic/kidding?....

Maybe just for one night stands but not for relationships.
