Title: incidence of knee pain after tibia nailing has been reported as high as 86%

I was thinking about getting LON tibia because external is out of the question for me. According to this paper incidence of knee pain after tibia nailing has been reported as high as 86%.

It doesn't make sense to do tibia at all if that's the case. What do y'all think? MDOW and other users also reported knee pain but their pain got improved over time. Is the knee pain greater than the mental pain you have to endure due to short height?

Nail removal resolved or improved the symptoms in almost all cases.

you also gotta remember that the literature usually is pretty much all trauma cases. which would definetly skew the data. there are factors that can change the outcomes of surgical procedures. elective vs emergency and oddly enough day cases vs at night.
any ways the point is take it with a tiny grain of salt. because the literature dosnt fully apply to CLL patients

Yes, as an LATN  veteran I can vouch for this. Couldnt run at all for 2 years after nailing cause it either hurt or I didnt feel stable. After nail removal, I started running again no problem.

25% of patients still suffer from knee pain after nail removal.
