As per topic. Is there a point of age where the surgeon's cognitive abilities could be affected by age? And at which age is the best balance of experience and cognitive abilities?

Paley is like 65 and considered best surgeon in world. Kind of a tough question, I would say around 70 but surgeons like catagni/paley/rozbruch are all pretty close to their and doing good so I guess my initial opinion was wrong

You must know good doctors are almost conducting surgeries at old ages.

Dr Debiparshad is about 40 I think. hes world class. Look at how his patients recover. I guess from 40-60 your ok as long as the surgeon himself is good by education and experience. people retain cognitive abilities well up to their 60 at least in developed countries.

Not sure why you speak so highly of debiparshad. He is not world class lol, world class is like paley or rozbruch, even mahboubian is better. Out of the 4 major doctors in the USA, he is the least qualified. Don’t get me wrong he Not saying he’s a bad doctor, he has positive outcomes, and is more than qualified to do it

Who knows, maybe he is a seller or something.
Turkish doctors have many on that forum.
Otherwise I can't understand why he exaggerates that much about him (world class with only a 2-3 years of doing LL!).
The best age is anywhere between 45-65. But what matters most is the experience of the doctor and his willing to make everything perfect.
And experience in an age of 40 and less is very rare.

I aint an agent of Dr. D, although it might be a nice side job to have I suppose. seriously why do I admire him? he has learned from the best and had a world class education. He has done some 50 surgeries last year alone. He is also quite affordable.
Some might disagree with me, but I think the way he offers this as an enhancement to your lives is something I like. If because of unscrupulous marketing his patients were getting crippled then I would have understood but his patients are doing GREAT.
in fact I was the one who questioned why he hasnt done leg length surgery on himself coz I notice hes short. Im sure the man wouldve fired me if I worked for him because of this alone. ;D

Experience and skill of the surgeon is pivotal..Also, most importantly, he should not be arrogant and must be willing to talk about the entire process in excruciating detail with the patient..
