Is there really such a surgical scar on the external fixator.

Femur external fixators have the worst scars in LL. The muscle damage caused is significant and it's been reported the most painful method.

So, there are scars like this in all external fixator?
If there is a tibia, isn't there that many scars?

Looks like that top person had something else done on the lateral calf.  That didn't come from a fixator.
