Hey everyone so I was wondering if this could be a problem heading into limb lengthening surgery which I don't plan on doing anytime soon. I fractured my knee many years ago and I don't think it ever completely healed. It's really not a huge problem though. I can walk, run, jump, play any high intensity sport pretty much with no problem. It's just that after hours of standing/walking/running I will from time to time experience some pain and tightness around my knee. I got X-rays and my physician told me there's nothing structurally wrong with my knee and that seeing a physical therapist should be able to get me back to 100 percent. Is this something I should take care of before I consider limb lengthening?

I had ACL reconstructive surgery on my right knee in 2013. Iam currently lengthening as well. So the surgerg is not a problem provided its healed. I have asked my dr too, he said it wouldnt bother. Even if I had an IM nail it wouldnt have been an issue.

I will only give one advice - do not stretch much, I tried stretching 2 times a day and in a week got huge pain in my tendon, so stopped stretching completely for 2 weeks now all good, now I stretch only once a week.
